Below are sample itineraries, both for 7 day and day long charters.
Sample 7 day itinerary
Below is a typical charter that you could expect when you choose to cruise for upto 7 days with Abbie Yacht Charters.
Saturday
As you land at Gibraltar International Airport you will be greeted by your skipper and crew for the week and be taken to the yacht, where a champagne reception awaits. Spend the evening exploring Gibraltar's new and exciting marina, filled with boutique shops, bars and a casino.
Sunday
A leisurely start to the day is helped with a continental breakfast served on the flybridge of Abbie Louise. On departing Gibraltar there is a fantastic opportunity to see dolphins in the strait of Gibraltar as we cross over to Morocco, heading for the Port of Shmir.
Monday
As morning breaks in Morocco a local tour guide will arrive at the yacht to take you on a tour of Tetouan. The small streets of this city open up to the magnificent king's palace in the main square.
Tuesday
Just a short hop across the med takes Abbie Louise back over to the Spanish coast and to the port of Sotogrande. Experience all that Sotogrande has to offer, from its luxury stores to the fine dining restaurants and possibly even a polo match!
Wednesday
Leaving Sotogrande, Abbie Louise heads towards the town of Estepona. Before entering the port the yacht will anchor just off the main beach to enable you and your guests to take a dip or try your hand at the water sports Abbie Louise has to offer.
Thursday
From Estapona the yacht heads to the famous port of Puerto Banus. Guests can experience the hustle and bustle of the port from the yacht or choose to explore the town further. A must whilst in Puerto Banus is an evening drink in the busiest bar in town, Sinatra's.
Friday
Friday brings a different view to the week, with the opportunity to venture up to one of the Costas amazing golf courses and clubs for a round, or just settle in at the 19th hole! Once everyone is back on board, Abbie Louise heads back to the Rock of Gibraltar.
Saturday
The skipper and crew will accompany you back to Gibraltar International Airport for your flight home.
Sample one day itinerary
This is an example of a one day charter with Abbie Yacht Charters.
Arrival
09:30 - You arrive at the Yacht to be greeted by your skipper and crew for the day.
Breakfast
10:00 - Once greeted you will be given a quick safety briefing before sitting down at the dining area on the deck to enjoy a luxurious Continental breakfast complete with chilled Champagne.
Cruising the Med
11:00 - Once breakfast is finished, your day cruise will commence. Setting off from port, you will be taken out into the open water in search of the Dolphins swimming off the coast of Gibraltar and often come up to cruising boats. Spending 40 minutes or so enjoying the sight of the Dolphins playing near the boat and swimming with us, we will then cruise to a local beach in time to enjoy lunch, al fresco on the beach.
Beach Lunch
13:30 - Dropping anchor off the coast, you will be transported to the beach to enjoy a delicious lunch on any one of the many fine beaches along the coast where you can take in the beautiful scenery and soft sand.
Swimming & Jetrib
14:30 - Returning to the vessel after your lunch, you will be able to enjoy a swim in the wonderful, warm mediteranean sea from the rear of the boat or should you wish, go for an exhillarating ride in the yachts Jetrib. If you're of a more laid back disposition, you are welcome to just sit back, relax and enjoy the refreshments, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, that are provided throughout the day by the crew.
Slow cruise
16:30 - Finally, we up anchor and go for a slow cruise along the coast back to port for the end of your trip.
